Creating your perfect space

While it can be incredibly exciting as well as a little daunting to look at a space and make decisions about how to decorate it, not knowing how it will feel or look once finished, practice and experimentation definitely helps progress with knowing what you like. The more we try new and different things, the better we are able to create spaces that you, as well as your friends and family, want to spend time in.

Personally, I have found that fragrance is a large part of that along with small bespoke pieces that prompt conversation and/or memories. However, I live in a small home so that works for me. Others may want a unique statement piece, like a piece of wall art, which ties the whole space together and enables a theme to flow throughout your home.

Hey ... I'm Kat

So, most of my adult life, I've been drawn to creating warm, inviting home environments that make people feel welcome and comfortable in. 

I've been asked how I create the atmosphere in my home, so much so in fact, that I started offering some ideas and simple homemade products to others. 

Every product I share has gone through much research and testing (thanks go to my friends and family!) as well as significant planning to create the perfect version of it. 

It continues to be a journey.

AHWK has become more than just touches that add warmth to make a house feel like a home. Everything shared is infused with a deep passion and desire to make your home life more fulfilling, comfortable and enjoyable for you and those you invite in.
